Return of the Jedi - Lando Calrissian in Skiff Guard Disguise. This figure first appeared on the Return Of The Jedi 65 back card. Return Of The Jedi saw many characters morally grow and redeem themselves for their past indiscretions. If not for Anakin Skywalker?s redemption looming over the film, more viewers would have noticed that Lando Calrissian busted his back to make up for a situation he was forced into? The guilt the former Cloud City administrator felt over what happened to his pal motivated him to spend roughly two hours of screen time slumming it with drooling aliens and risking his neck. Then again, he was a pretty slick guy? maybe he was just trying to impress his pal?s girlfriend. Though all vintage figures have minor variations, the Lando Calrissian (Skiff Guard Disguise) figure has a couple of interesting moulding variations. One version sports a light brown moulded torso and a light brown (not the same colour) moulded head, where the other version?s torso and head were moulded in noticeably darker brown plastics. Judging by the hand spray ops on these versions (light brown hands and dark brown hands respectively) these are the intended combinations, but due this figure being one of the many produced with the removable style head that Kenner favoured in the production of most post Star Wars figures, it is virtually impossible to say whether that is always the case. There were two slightly different sculpts used to create this weapon. There is no indication that either sculpt is exclusive to any one figure/ variation.
